FAMILY, GROUP AND SCHOOL VISITS
The Jean Monnet House in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne is the ideal place to learn about the life and work of one of the architects of today’s Europe.
Located 45 km to the west of Paris, it was a perfect retreat for Monnet, where he could develop his vision of European peace and unity away from the hubbub of the French capital.
In the heart of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park, the Jean Monnet House is an enchanting place for a group excursion.
Visitors will be able to learn more about Europe and spend a relaxing time with family or friends.
The history of European integration is presented through numerous interactive and recreational activities. School groups will learn how Jean Monnet shaped today’s Europe and the extent to which today’s European institutions influence people’s lives.
During the week, groups are limited to 40 people, subject to availability.
For school groups, one accompanying adult is required for every 20 pupils.
At weekends, we can host groups of up to 120 people.
